Christmas, Riley style!

I'm all ready for Christmas this year. I've got my Santa hat. I've got my Christmas pajamas (Who's Santa's Cheeky Monkey) and I've got my gingerbread house!

Sixteen months old

I'm sixteen months old and almost walking.
My favourite words are 'O oh', 'ta' and 'car'.
My favourite toys are Connor and Daddies matchbox cars. Mummy says I can't do everything with my cars. I don't know why I can't eat with them, sleep with them and have my bath with them.
I just started seeing Maria at AmigOz family day care on Thursdays.

Walking

It has been a busy month.
Everyone seems really pleased when I stand up and walk. I am not sure why. It is so much slower than crawling.
My favourite thing in the whole world is Connor's cars.

Rotary Park Wanneroo

Mummy, Connor and I went to Rotary Park yesterday. We had a picnic with Isla and Isabelle (and their mummy's).
Connor took Isla and I on the swings and Mummy took me on the spinning green teacup ride! We were having such a good time that Mummy forgot to take very many pictures.

Mummy did get some pictures of one of my girlfriends. Her name is Isla. She is so pretty!

Oakover Winery

Today, Mummy and Aunty Kareena took me out for lunch to Oakover Winery.
Isla's Mummy, Laura was there too, but she didn't bring Isla :-(
We played on the lawn and had pizza for lunch.

Singing in the bath

I had my twelve month injections yesterday. I managed to fool mummy into thinking I was sick for two months so that I didn't have to have my needles. My luck finally ran out.
It wasn't too bad. The nice nurse had bubbles to play with after.

My new car!

I got a new car this week! It is big and grey and there is lots of space for Mummy to pack all of my favourite things inside.
One of my favourite things is still bath time. I put on my spaceman's hat and splash!
Daddy spent all of last week away in London, but he brought me home some cool clothes.

Park play

Mummy and I went for a walk to meet Kareena at the park.

Spotty Monkey

I am not sure why, but I have spent the week at home with Mummy and Daddy. I have these strange red spots all over me. Must have been something I ate. :-)
I have been practicing my walking while I have been home. I can now get around, walking with my walker, my block wagon, my activity table, the clothes airer or anything else that Mummy leaves out for me.
We are going to Great Granny's 100th birthday party tomorrow. I'm very excited! Do you think she will have fairy bread?
